Jaguar constantly evolved the EType over 12 years, creating coupe, convertible and 2+2 bodystyles and Series 1, 2 and 3 versions with straight six 3.8 and 4.2 engines and finally 5.3 litre V12 power. There are a multitude of variations inbetween and much debate in Jaguar E-Type circles about the merits of different gearbox, engine and brake combinations.
